Other FAQ's

How Do I Print Course Exercises (individually or all at once)?

If you wish to print individual exercises: Click the "Print" button on your browser when you are on the exercise page you wish to print out a hard copy of. This is the most simple and expedient method to use for printing an individual exercise.

If you want to print all the exercises from a course at once: You can copy a file containing all the exercises to your machine. Then you can print or view the exercise file using Adobe Acrobat Reader. To copy the file, click on the Navigate button from within the course you wish to print exercise files from. Next click on the "About This Course" link followed by the "Printing Exercises" link. You only need to do this once per course.

You will then be prompted to save the file that you will run to install the exercise file and Acrobat Reader. Save the file on your hard drive in any directory. After the file is saved, run it from Explorer or File Manager and follow the instructions. The exercise file and Acrobat Reader will then be installed.

How Do I Copy Supplied Files?

To copy supplied files, do the following:

1. Click on the "Navigate" button on the Navigate Bar from within the course you wish to copy the supplied files from.
2. Next click on the "About This Course" link followed by the "Copying Supplied Files" link.
3. An instruction screen will appear. After reading the screen, click on the "Copy the supplied files" link.
4. Save the file to the default directory or the directory of your choice.
5. Go to the directory where the file was saved and double click its icon to extract the individual supplied files. Once extracted, the individual files can be opened or moved as any other Windows file.

How do I bookmark where I left off in the course?

By simply clicking on the Exit icon at the bottom right-hand corner of the navigational bar. It will bookmark your place automatically. The next time you access that course you will be taken to the bookmarked location. This global bookmarking feature works from any computer.

I just finished a course and forgot to save my scores. Can you retrieve them from the system?

Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to access them. It is the students responsibility to save their scores or print them after finishing each course.

I have finished the course but still show no score for some units.

No score is generated until all the questions in the unit have been answered. If a student skips a question in a unit, that unit has not been completed and the unit score remains 0%. If the student gets the purple ! (Hint) but does not "try again" to get the Green Checkmark (Correct) or Red X (Incorrect) scoring, the question has not been considered answered. To verify if the student has unanswered questions go to the Navigate page, click Scores, and click the option to view a list of questions not answered.

What can I do to improve my scores?

Once you have completed a unit, go back and re-answer every question in that unit. If you answer more questions correctly, an improved score for that unit will be recorded.

What do I need to do to get full course completion credit?

To get full credit for a course, you must answer every "Think About It" question. You get credit for completing a unit when you answer every question in that unit. The course is completed when you have answered all questions in each unit.
